Pediatric Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapists at The Jungle Gym help children achieve maximum independence with self care and functional activities through purposeful play that enhances fine motor, sensory, and social development. We are certified in administering the SIPT (Sensory Integration and Praxis Test) to help detect problems involving the sensory system.
Pediatric Physical Therapy
Physical therapists at The Jungle Gym use fun age appropriate activities to improve mobility, muscle strength, balance, and gross motor coordination. We are certified in performing and instructing in infant massage. Individualized treatment plans are designed based on principles to help children achieve their goals.
Pediatric Speech and Language Pathology
Speech therapists at The Jungle Gym utilize play and movement to foster language development and communication skills. Therapy sessions offer the use of sign language and cued speech to enhance language development and speech production. We are experienced in developing personalized exercise programs to increase oral motor function.
Developmental Play Groups
Developmental play groups at The Jungle Gym are specifically designed for both typical and atypical children. Each group will focus on developing social interaction, communication, and shaping sensory systems. Successful play experiences promote self-esteem, empathy, and acceptance.

Tiny Turtle Massage Classes: 0-6 months
Infant massage is a nurturing touch that enhances the bonding between a parent and baby. Regular massages have been found to improve sleep, reduce fussing, stimulate brain development, and even relieve discomfort due to constipation, gas and colic in babies. Parents learn to understand their baby’s cues and ways to comfort and soothe their baby, reducing stress for both.

- Small groups of 4 or less in each class
- Classes run in 4 week sessions (1 hour each) for $80.00
Chatting Cheetahs Social Skill Classes: 5-8 years
This group will provide lessons presenting abstract concepts related to social communication in concrete ways to increase understanding of social situations. Play opportunities will include games and role playing to provide instruction in a variety of foundation skills involved in social thinking, such as problem solving, “whole body” language, humor, and the role of emotions in communication.
- All Social Skill classes are 45 minutes.
- Sessions are 4 weeks for $100.00
- Criteria must be met for registration
- Able to sit for at least 15 minutes and show interest in group activity.
- Follow oral directions with minimal assistance.
- Use at least simple sentences to communicate and engage in conversational speech.
Handwriting Clinics: Preschool to 5th Grade
Children who write well perform better in school, enjoy classes more, and feel pride in their work. The handwriting classes at The Jungle Gym will help children get ready to write or improve handwriting skills using the Handwriting Without Tears Program.
- All books, paper, and materials included in the fee.
- Small groups of 5 or less in each class
- Each class begins with a warm-up activity in the gym
- Classes run in 8 week sessions (1 hour each) for $200.00

Nutritional Classes
- Infant Feeding Class
All aspects of feeding in the first year of life will be discussed: different types of formulas, starting baby food, transitioning to table food, and prevention of food allergies.
- Toddler Eating
Topics include strategies for increasing the variety of food your child eats, picky eaters, and kids in the kitchen
- Lunch Brunch
Class designed for children 3 years and older offering suggestions for fun, creative snacks along with lunch box ideas for your child at school.
- Kids in the Kitchen
Bring your child for a class on helping to make a meal. Have your child get their chef’s hat on and watch them eat what they make!
- Healthy Kids
Class designed for children to learn about the different food groups while experimenting with new foods.
Baby Signs® by Cammie
- Sign, Say, and Play Classes instructed by Cammie Gampp.
- Ages 6 months – 36 months
- Cost is $125.00 per family for 6 weeks (1 hour each week)
- Criteria: Children need to be able to sit independently
- Each week a new theme will be introduced which will include learning 6-7 signs. The stimulating activities, songs, play, and information introduced in the class will support the learning of the signs. This class is a perfect way to help your child develop language, cognitive, and social skills.
